Kentucky will take a banged up team into College Station Saturday evening for a big SEC matchup again the Aggies. Can the Cats continue their improved play, or will the injuries be too much?

This is a huge game for the Aggies as they try to rebound from some tough losses lately. I believe I read where ESPN will have their Game Day there this Saturday.

Texas A&M 78

Kentucky 69

Sure would have rather had last night's game on Tuesday to give guys like Lee a little more rest. But this is what it's like when it matters in March, so might as well get used to it.

With everyone else losing this week, tomorrow could go a long way to a higher seed come Selection Sunday.

UK plays well in big games. Saturday will be no different.

UK by 12.

In the post game they said Cal asked if they'd rather practice 3 days in a row or play/travel/play and the kids all said PLAY. No shock there. This team goes as far as the guards can take them. No offense at all from the bigs. We may need a loose whistle.

Derrick Willis says thanks for the slap in the face.

A loss at A&M isn't the end of the world, but a win really puts Kentucky in the driver's seat for a league championship and higher NCAA seed.

Exactly. I think UK has an opportunity to take advantage of the multiple top 5 team losses this week. With a win Saturday they could climb quite a few spots by the time the next rankings come out.

Too beat up

Too banged up

Too little from big men

Too bad it aint at Rupp because we suck on the road.

I think Cats win, but it'll be a tough one. Will need some sort of contribution down low. At this point, that might be Humphries, not Lee or Skal. :idunno:

The Aggies are in an absolute tailspin right now. Lost 5 of their last 6 before a home win over Ole Miss on Tuesday.

But you know they'll be ready to play Saturday and will likely play their best game of the season.

A&M has its back to the wall & they usually play well at home. UK has a short turnaround & the team is a bit banged up.

I'll take the Aggies by 7.

I'm really confident in the Cats big picture, but this game worries me because of the injuries and timing.

I'll say:

UK 76

Aggies 72

South Carolina game to the contrary.

I don't really consider Willis to be a big. I think he is playing the 4 more out of necessity. Mostly scores in transition and jumpers. Really don't see him showing an post moves or much of a game with his back to the basket. I think is game is more of a 3 than a 4. But he's doing what is needed to help his team.
