Thought about this the other night, got a brand of wheat bread that I had not tried before and didn't like it very much. But their white bread version I really like so I was a little surprised.

Just as far as flavor, I prefer a good white bread over a good wheat...but...I prefer the health benefits the wheat offers and eat it probably 9-1 over white. My girlfriend prefers a very think and hearty style wheat bread, like Oroweat or Arnolds, and that's what I usually have on hand...but I usually prefer the traditional style wheat bread like Sara Lee or Roman Meal...they aren't as think and dense.

So, what do you prefer or mostly eat? What brand?

I pretty much get something different every week. I like oat, rye, wheat, white, sour dough, multi-grain.

But if I had to choose one. It would probably be Brownberry Oatnut.

Except for peanut butter sandwiches. I prefer them on white bread.

I love Jewish rye, seeded, unseeded, light, dark or swirl, doesn't matter. Also like Nickles wheat and if I eat white I prefer Pepperidge Farm in the small white sack (like bread with some oomph).

Jewish Rye for me. White buns for dogs or burgers.

Raised 3 kids on Kroger wheat round top - although I'm not sure if that is much more nutritional than white bread. I believe the whole grain wheats are considered the healthiest.

Its funny, but my kids think white bread is out of the ordinary & they can't stand grape jelly. We always had wheat bread & blackberry jelly, sometimes strawberrry.

I recently bought my first loaf of Dave's Killer Bread. It was fantastic. It's expensive (for bread) but Kroger had it on sale and I had heard good things. I'm mad now because I'm probably going to buy it all the time.
