I don't think NCAA moves quickly enough that they would have done anything to sanction this current season.

UofL would have been a lot fairer to current players to announced they were sitting out next season. Allowing these kids that had ZERO to do with this to finish this year and play in ACC and NCAA tourneys and then be free to transfer at the end of the season.

It's a major different for me. They had something to play for in those 9 game before today. Now, they are playing for nothing. I'd already be signed with an agent if it was me.

They could have announced a self imposed ban for next season out of fairness to current players that were not involved. I think everyone would agree that would have been fair, even the NCAA.

UL has self-imposed a postseason ban for this year 2015-16. Cannot yet give details of the infractions as investigation is continuing, but are taking this action based on what has been uncovered.
