January 18, 201610 yr I'm already looking forward to visiting you again next season up there for the next matchup BM.
January 18, 201610 yr I agree about the speed on the Steelers offense. Their wideouts really impressed me and the Bronco DB's had trouble staying with them all night. I think Wheaton is on a contract year. In the event he demands more than a very frugal contract he'll be gone. Coates is bigger, faster and might be the next big thing in Pittsburgh. Ben clamored for seasons about a big receiver and now he has Bryant, Coates who are both horses to go along with the best receiver in the league. It's replacing Heath that is on the horizon and I dread that.

Just really lucky that his skills or lack of there didn't cause points the other way. Gotta find a punt returner to replace AB or be a backup. Bryant is really inconsistent. He can look unbelievable and then like a buffoon. He is no Burris. Maybe a few more years to mature. You may be right on Coates. Miller would be a really big loss. Just a really steady TE.
January 18, 201610 yr Why did the Steelers punt when they had the ball at the Broncos 33 in the second half, I believe they were leading by 1 at the time? Why not throw it to the endzone if they were not going to attempt the field goal? Instead they punt it into the endzone and give Denver the ball at the 20. I felt confident that they were going to lose at that point.

I know the conditions were tough with the wind but there was little to be gained with the punt. A long pass has a much lower possibility of succeeding than the field goal try. In Denver a 50 yarder is like a 40 yarder elsewhere.

A missed field goal or an incomplete pass puts the ball at the 33.

Seems like the only one missed was a real long one.
January 18, 201610 yr We may be in the minority, but we are correct. Wet field, fumble-prone RB, Ben couldn't throw harder than my grandma. Night and day. Ah, give it up MP, some people just reject being educated.

January 18, 201610 yr I haven't read this thread so... Really weak effort by Bengals players tweeting how happy they are that Denver beat Pittsburgh. Very teenage ex-girlfriend/boyfriend type stuff. Lame.
January 18, 201610 yr We may be in the minority, but we are correct. Wet field, fumble-prone RB, Ben couldn't throw harder than my grandma. Night and day. Correct. We played defense as if Aaron Rodgers was back there slinging it. Ben could barely throw it farther than my grandma(and she's dead!!!). Just stupid crap all the way around.
January 18, 201610 yr Easy to point to the fumble as the cause of the loss. And while that was ultimately what did Pittsburgh in, the fact this was even a game was remarkable. Considering what they were missing from the offensive side of the ball, I wasn't really upset with the loss.
