January 18, 201610 yr Different circumstances but keep tryin. Bengals were wrong, Broncos were right. We may be in the minority, but we are correct. Wet field, fumble-prone RB, Ben couldn't throw harder than my grandma. Night and day.
January 18, 201610 yr I would like to see a stat on how many dropped passes Bronco receivers had in this game. It sure seemed like they dropped a lot of them to me. They did drop a lot... But pro receivers are use to catching spirals... I don't think Peyton threw one the whole game...

January 18, 201610 yr Author Different circumstances but keep tryin. Bengals were wrong, Broncos were right. What was different? In fact, it was more incumbent on the Bengals to run the ball because they had a less sure field goal attempt without running it. Edited January 18, 201610 yr by Voice of Reason
January 18, 201610 yr Broncos should send Burfict a box of chocolates... He's the reason the Steelers didn't have Bell or Brown... Different game if those two are in there. The reason yes, but you make it seem like both hits were illegal. The Brown hit was totally illegal and was penalized/fined rightly for it. But to complain about the Bell tackle is lame. He's been out 12 weeks. Sounds like a typical butt hurt fan, team lost woulda shoulda coulda. Peyton better tsake his D out for a steak dinner and his receivers to the practice field. I do feel for Williams, anytime that happens to anyone its painful.
January 18, 201610 yr As I said earlier this week. The Bengals and Steelers need to play in the afc championship. After these teams play both teams usually have no shot the next week because of how banged up they are. So at least they would have a week off to get ready for the super bowl.

I'm a Bengals fan and I know for a fact the Bell hit was 100% legal... I was just pointing out that Burfict did as much to help the Broncos as anybody. And for the record, I'm very happy the Steelers lost.
January 18, 201610 yr I'm disappointed that my Pats won't be able to give the Steelers a spanking for the trash of a team that they are. At least the next game will be a battle of two mature grown men. (Team wise) Whatever. I think you're tickled pink because your team stood a real shot at getting sent home with a more healthy lineup next weekend.

January 18, 201610 yr Broncos should send Burfict a box of chocolates... He's the reason the Steelers didn't have Bell or Brown... Different game if those two are in there. Well, of course, there's a strong argument that if Burfict doesn't level that hit, the Broncos would have been playing the Chiefs anyway. ... So yeah, a box of chocolates, because I don't think they'd have beaten the Chiefs.

At least the next game will be a battle of two mature grown men. (Team wise) I'm a fan of Manning and the Broncos, and it's no fault of his or theirs, but does anyone recall their week 9 loss to the Colts when Talib was penalized for poking a guy in the eye, removing all chances for Manning to try to send game into overtime? Not exactly a mature move on his part to say the least.
January 18, 201610 yr Im not surprised that there's no game talk only bashing the Steelers. I expected that. But my guys played fairly well considering the circumstances. Ben is a boss, I find it hard to believe the Burfict injury was as awful as it was made out, either by him, the staff, the media or all of them. Happy that they have a money kicker, and wish the HC would have used him when they made the moronic decision to punt, to no benefit frankly. I feel bad for Touissant really. They lost the turnover battle and it's solely his fault. Hoping for better long term health next year for the offensive squad. Tough sledding without your all pro Center, all pro RB and all pro WR and starting LT. It's a testament to Ben how far this team went. I wish the Broncos luck in the next round at home. Not because I'm a Bronco fan, but I'd like to see GOATBoy cry next week.
