Ms Slick's teenage daughter picked her little brother up from school awhile back and said they were going to stop for a snack at Arby's and McDonald's and it costs $18 and change. They don't weigh 150 pounds put together. I said no more of those trips!

I eat what I want. I don't let the price dictate what I'm hungry for at that time. Within reason of course.

The price is reason #2 I rarely ever eat fast food, reason #1 is because it's usually terrible.

Penn Station is another place that I like but think is expensive.

My wife and I can dang near it at desha's for what it costs at long johns.

Same here. Good sandwiches, good, fries, good lemonade. Too pricey for fast food.

Was in Northern Kentucky yesterday for appointments and an MRI, so a long day. Hubby thought he would give me a break from kitchen, stopped at Wendy's at Alexandria Green, seemed convenient. We almost never do fast food being a very good cook myself and love to cook. It was definitely a mistake. What was supposed to be chili, had big squares of chopped up hamburger patties instead of ground whatever. Where did anyone think that recipe was a good idea? Pitched most of that meal. I can order a Kansas City Steak 4-5 lb. prime rib roast for 49.99 and I can make about 4-5 nights entrees easy and the sides aren't much of an expense with canning from garden and salads and my own bread. Never realized how bad or expensive fast food had become.

The $5 lunch bucket (or whatever they call it) at KFC is a strong deal. 3 nice-sized tenders, mashed potatoes, biscuit, drink, AND a chocolate chip cookie.

 

Tasty and a nice value.

Had my annual physical today. BP was 124/82. Celebrated with two grilled breakfast burritos. Wish they would do breakfast all day.

It's fast food. You know the price when you order it. Not sure how you can be surprised by it.

 

Well, not EXPECTING to pay almost $12.50 for a bowl of spaghetti and a slice of pizza I didn't pay any real attention to the board. I didn't expect to pay sitdown casual dinning price at a fast food joint...and I think most would have been surprised by it. Won't do it again I can tell you that, Fazoli's if off the lunch menu from now on.

That's disgusting. The crazy thing is I know several people that absolutely love Wendy's chili.
