January 11, 201610 yr I know this is a Lou Reed song, but Bowie produced the album it was on, and it's Bowie's amazing vocals singing backup on this one (particularly in the last minute). One of my favorite vocal performances by Bowie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MO5reyuzXis Edited January 11, 201610 yr by Colonels_Wear_Blue

January 11, 201610 yr Heartbreaking news. Most celebrity deaths don't phase me, but I grew up loving David Bowie. I'm home sick today. This is the first thing I saw when I woke up.
January 11, 201610 yr Heartbreaking news. Most celebrity deaths don't phase me, but I grew up loving David Bowie. I'm home sick today. This is the first thing I saw when I woke up. This! Loved his creativity and his passion for change. He was not afraid to break the rules and never wanted to stiffle his creativity. He toured 20 something years back and did a 900 number to request what songs the fans wanted to hear. Said he would do those songs, but not do them again in concert. Went to an outdoor venue in Indy, It was hands down the best concert I've attended even though I only had 4th row seats. Saw him a few years later in Vegas. After I was treated to a warm up band by the name of 9 inch nails he was true to his word and never repeated a single song. The only one he played that evening I knew was "Under Pressure". RIP to the Chameleon!
