January 18, 201610 yr I fixed what my two men asked for....what a combination. We had soup beans and cornbread ( husband asked for this). Crab legs, frog legs and cheesy potatoes ( son asked for this). For dessert, Honey Bell oranges.
January 18, 201610 yr Started Blue Apron and we really like it. 60 bucks a week and three really good and different meals for two. We have had 15 thus far and I will say 4 have been over the top good, 6-7 very good 3-4 ok and 2 below average. The soups were the two. Just not tasty. One week mistakenly ordered the vegetarian meals and they were good.
January 18, 201610 yr Quaker Blueberry/Cranberry Oatmeal for breakfast... Peppered Bacon and Eggs for lunch... Sushi ( Living Color Roll ) for dinner... Snacking on almonds in between... :jump:

However, while beans & cornbread sound good; if someone's making, I'm all for crab and frog legs.

Crab legs, frog legs and cheesy potatoes ( son asked for this). For dessert, Honey Bell oranges. I love me a mess of frog legs, especially fried in corn meal. Soup beans, cornbread, and a wedge of onion. It was a treat when I was a kid, cause we only got it when there was a left over ham bone available. Like after Easter. Still is. It's been over a year since I've gotten it.
January 18, 201610 yr Had roast chicken from Publix last night. Making Bengal Maniac's baked chicken tonight, only this time we're leaving off the butter.
January 19, 201610 yr That next generation always has to be more expensive. However, while beans & cornbread sound good; if someone's making, I'm all for crab and frog legs. My son loves them. I buy them at Krogers when they are on sale. I have 2 upright freezers, one chest and two side by side refrigerators and all are full of things I find on sale. We don't eat our much, but we eat well at home. During the holidays I bought 5 Prime Ribs and put them in the freezer. Also bought 2 spiral county hams and put in the freezer. Next time you are up this way, come over and I will fix both for you.
January 19, 201610 yr Chicken breast & asparagus cooked in olive oil and a mess of garlic, onion, cummin, and curry powders.
January 20, 201610 yr Elk burger and fries at Game over by Cherokee Park in Louisville. One of the great hidden gems in the Louisville restaurant scene.
January 22, 201610 yr Turkey burgers fried in olive oil, fresh garlic, and onions. California mixed veggies. Cuties for dessert.
