April 9, 201610 yr Enjoyed a day in Danville and went to Mallards for dinner. Solid chicken quesadilla and bbq potato skins. Unfortunately the kitchen made a Med-Rare Sirloin Med-Well. I didn't have the patience or where with all to send it back and tolerated the sin that is a steak cooked beyond med-rare... :lol2: A couple quality pints of beer helped me overcome!!! Stopped by Burkes Bakery this morning to load up on doughnuts for the next couple days. And gladly purchased fresh baked salt-risen and wheat bread loafs. Just had a heckuva smoked ham sandwich with havarti cheese and plochmans yellow mustard on said breads. Really enjoyed Burkes wheat bread. On a side note Danville looks fantastic this time of year. Dogwoods and redbuds blooming everywhere. :thumb: Sure that can be said for the rest of the state, however, I saw a lot more in Danville! Happy Masters Golf Saturday folks...
