What Are You Eating In 2016?

Featured Replies

Just took a prime rib roast out of freezer, easy meals for the week with back to regular season bb games. Papaw and I have had it for eating out, with all our trips to NKy lately.

Made chili over the weekend, and just had a bowl for breakfast/lunch.

I've made chili three times in the last couple of weeks. I throw in a little bit of everything. I like it HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

I bake tilapia and salmon quite a bit. I have also had fried sweet potatoes(Glazed with brown sugar) a couple of times of late.

Fiance made some stuffed peppers last night. Having one for lunch today as well.

Love stuffed peppers. Yum!!!

Last night was Brussels sprouts topped with cheese.

Tonight, I grilled a couple of rib-eyes and Mrs. S made a nice salad. Had I had apples and peanut butter for dessert. Mrs. S had a couple of Cuties.

One of my favorite desserts after I gave up eating a lot of sweets. Thank goodness for apples and peanut better.

Peanut butter is the bacon of dessert foods. :D

Sounds GREAT, although I'd have to have my broil done a little more.

Waiting for the bride to spring a new chicken dish as I type.....gotta make sure the path to the "head" is free and clear.....just sayin' from experience you know. My wife is a good cook but for some reason she has to monkey with perfectly fine recipes. However, this one is new one and sometimes.....

Uhh, well it's broiled chicken pieces with cream of chicken soup, ranch stuff, sour cream, parmesan, bacon pieces, some other stuff I can't remember and it's on bowtie pasta. I did not care for it...at all, couldn't eat a second bite but my son stopped over and liked it. I gave him a large bowl with lid and told him to take it all with him. Of course my wife looks at me and says, "excuse me, you didn't run that by me you know!" Looks like I'll be eating baloney sammiches for a few days.....I love fried baloney, but..

My wife makes her London broil in a crock pot with brown and mushroom gravies. Cooks it for hours and it gets so tender you can cut your piece with a fork.

Not been cooking much lately. Today we had brats, hot dog sauce with green onions and cheese.
