January 5, 201610 yr Hardees is strong. Biscuit World in West Virginia is good. Gas station west of Maysville has a restaurant with a strong country ham biscuit. Used to make these back in the day when their Cinnamon Raisin biscuit first came out...I'm dating myself here I think.
January 5, 201610 yr "The Squirrel", 344 Walnut St., downtown Cincinnati. I just had a goetta, egg and cheese biscuit this morning. Unbelievably tasty. I need to change things up for breakfast, maybe I will go there...thanks

January 5, 201610 yr Author Tudor's Biscuit World tops all breakfast I have had anywhere. I love their biscuits. Our's went out of business a couple of years ago and life has not been the same since. *sad face* I've seen those going through WV but never stopped at one. I assume they close early, like 1:00-2:00 in the afternoon?
January 5, 201610 yr That's not a biscuit. Illegal. I just wanted to say it out loud..........and I did as I posted it.

January 5, 201610 yr You are heading to work in the morning, you stop off at your go to place for a sausage, ham, whatever your favorite biscuit is. Where do you stop? Is it a chain place (i.e.. Hardees)...a mom and pop shop...a truck stop? So who has the best biscuit? You won't find them around here, but back in north/central NC and southern VA there is a small chain called Biscuitville ( @Hatz knows what I'm talking about). man they make some good biscuits, and I should know I worked at one for a year while in high school. Around here, Hardees has by far the best biscuit in my opinion and my go to place when I get one. Biscuitville Rules! Country Ham is great and their sausage is the best of any chain. I stop there more than Bojangles or Hardees when I'm on the go in Southside VA. :thumb: BigVMann knows!
January 5, 201610 yr Stop next time you see one, you will be glad you did. You can watch them make the biscuits through the "biscuit making window". Use to be able to anyway, I assume you still can. You will probably have to be in NC or VA, I don't think they exist anywhere else that I am aware of. The one I saw was in NC
January 5, 201610 yr This may not fit the genre we are discussing here but I like Bob Evans biscuits.

Had never heard of it but they're good, real good.
January 5, 201610 yr Best biscuits I ever had was at John and Bessie Harris' kitchen. My grandparents (Mom's side). Especially liked biscuits and chicken, fresh chicken. Grandma and Grandpa had a farm, lots of chickens so when grandma would go behind the barn sometimes, she'd be carrying back a limp chicken. I was a kid, didn't think anything about it at the time. And the biscuits......I can see her hand kneading the dough now in my mind's eye.........YUMMM!
January 5, 201610 yr I became quite fond of The Coach Stop in (almost) Crittenden last year. It's been some time since I was last there early enough to grab a fresh one.
