No.

How many are they in?

Can they? Sure. Will they? Not an easy prospect based on history.

LSU: Advocare Texas Bowl vs. Texas Tech

Auburn: Birmingham Bowl vs. Memphis

Miss. St.: Belk Bowl vs. NC State

Texas A&M: Music City Bowl vs. Louisville

Tennessee: Outback Bowl vs. Northwestern

Florida: Citrus Bowl vs. Michigan

Ole Miss: Sugar Bowl vs. Oklahoma State

Georgia: Gator Bowl vs. Penn State

Arkansas: Liberty Bowl vs. Kansas State

Alabama: Playoff vs. Michigan State

I think they lose two games. I think Florida loses to Michigan and I think Texas A&M loses to Louisville.

I know it's going to be in Birmingham and all, but I have ZERO faith in Auburn's ability to beat Memphis. I think the Tigers win that one.

I think the clearest SEC victories are LSU over Texas Tech, Miss. St. over NC State, and Arkansas over Kansas State. If the thing with Richt hadn't gone down, I'd have pegged Georgia to destroy Penn State, but you never know how things will go after all the drama.

No.

LSU vs Texas Tech = LSU

Auburn vs Memphis = Memphis

Mississippi St vs NC State = NC State

Texas A&M vs Louisville = Texas A&M

Bama vs Michigan State = Bama

Bama vs Clemson? = Clemson

Tennessee vs Northwestern = Tennessee

Arkansas vs Kansas St = Arkansas

Oklahoma St vs Ole Miss = OK State

Georgia vs Penn St = Georgia

A&M, Tennessee, Florida, and Ole Miss all will have their hands full.

I will add, as a counter-point, if LSU shows up giving a solitary darn about that game, they could beat Texas Tech by eleventy-billion.

History says no. You also have to factor in motivation, new coaches, and time away from the game when predicting bowls. Every year there are some bowl results that likely would not have happened if they had been played the week after Thanksgiving.

How will Memphis react under a new head coach? There is an x-factor there, too.

Fair point. I had a brain fart about Fuente's departure.

Sure they can. The more important question is will they. History would say no, although I think they will win a majority of them.

Bolded are how I think it goes...SEC 7-4 in Bowl Games this season...

Memphis over Auburn

Northwestern over Tennessee

Michigan over Florida

Penn State over Georgia

Mich St/ Bama is still a toss up for me.

Another year like last year and their reputation is completely gone.

LSU:

Memphis

NC State

Texas A&M

Northwestern

Michigan

Oklahoma State

Georgia

Arkansas

Michigan State
