I will add, as a counter-point, if LSU shows up giving a solitary darn about that game, they could beat Texas Tech by eleventy-billion.

I really expected Memphis to put a smack down on Auburn, they had looked good all year.

I thought the same. Totally underestimated what the coaching situation at Memphis would do to that team coming into the bowl.

They were 68th in scoring before they lost their top two quarterbacks so I don't think many people were impressed going into the game.
