Pikeville had much more speed than I expected all over the field. This game was much closer than the final score makes it appear...it got away from Beechwood in the last few minutes but it was a hard fought and well played game by both teams. Very few penalties, good passing ability by both teams and very good rushing attacks. Pikeville just broke a few long ones off to win the game.

No Strnger and no Soward we're definitely big losses for Beechwood, especially versus power running backs like Pikeville has. But Pikeville is very very good and I will not say Beechwood would beat them if those two played
