November 28, 201510 yr I'm starting to wonder about whether Stoops is the answer for Kentucky. Maybe there's not an answer for Kentucky football. It is what it is and always will be. Not much change in my lifetime( six decades). While schools that used to flounder(VA Tech, K-State, Northwestern, TCU, Oregon) have built respectable programs, UK struggles to do so.

None of those schools have programs that are second fiddle to another sport though. UK had one of the greatest coaches in history and turned him off, he ended up with like 7 national titles I think
