Not completely out of the running. OSU and Bama are two programs that get benefit of doubt. But this was a really late loss so that hurts. Columbus just became Penn State fans.

 

If OSU makes the playoff then the playoffs are a joke. This offense has sucked all year, doesn't matter which QB it is.

 

Sparty got cheated at Nebraska they should represent the B1G in the playoff.

I don't think MSU is average. They are very good. But their loss was a bad one. Last couple weeks will be interesting. Heck the night games tonight will be interesting.

Did Zeke get hurt? Why only 12 carries? With the bad weather, I figured they run him 35 times. It's not like they were behind and needed to throw it every down.

Ill pick MSU to win the CFP if they make it. Anyone who calls them an average team on either side of the ball is drinking SEC koolaid.

 

Ed needs to be oline only. Pay him like a coordinator if you want give him a special title idc he needs to be oline only. Can't win them all though.

NO Excuses ! MSU came in on a mission and flat out played the Buckeyes. The Spartans deserved the win and congrats to any true Sparty fan.

The Buckeyes were dominated on both sides of the ball, the story was as usual on the LOS and MSU dominated both lines.

Why Urban kept trying to pound the middle I don't know. There were very few runs to the outside and even with the weather OSU could had beaten theirwsecondary. Very few attempts to throw the deep ball and when they did it was open, had one drop on over threw Miller on another attempt.

MSU's defense dominated the game and they were the best team on this night.

Reminds me of an old Lou Holtz quote: "You don't have to be the best team all season, you just have to be the best team for 4 quarters today.
