I would guess to make traveling easier for Pulaski? So they don't get home at 2:00 a.m.?

The birds have played farther distances and never asked to have the time changed.

Got to go with the Birds...only losses to #3, #4, #5, #7, and #10 Cantrall's rated 6A teams in state. St. X, Simon Kenton, Scott Co., Ryle, and Cooper is an early season scheduling gauntlet that would be a nightmare for every team in Ky, let alone one with a new coach replacing a legend. Bird's faithful that didn't abandon ship have got to be proud of this team. Playoff tradition, home field advantage, and winning momentum combine to produce a victory over PC 30-21.

Just got the Text that both AD's and Head Coaches agreed to move the game. Case closed! Tailgating starts at 9:00 AM....

The game time change was agreed upon by the AD of each school. A petition is currently being circulated to fire the ADs...

Bloody Mary, eggs, bacon, goetta... One heck of a tailgate.

Well no excuse for Pulaski not to bring a good crowd then.

Throughout the season I bought in to the Pulaski is the best team from the east. Pulaski will cruise to BG. I recognized that HHS and CovCath were the major competition and were not having favorable results. Even with the common opponent score comparison of each HHS and Pulaski versus Scott Co being similar, the games were very different. Huge advantage to Pulaski.

 

Then October 30th happened. Pulaski versus 4A Bourbon County. A team coming off a loss to Harrison County. Not your state championship level competitive teams.

 

Pulaski came from behind to defeat Bourbon. It was a win, but very unimpressive for a team with high expectations. Injuries or penalties or turnovers - whatever the reason - Pulaski is no longer the beast in the east.

Well no excuse for Pulaski not to bring a good crowd then.

I was curious about that score too but it was explained earlier in the thread that QB 2 started and got injured and QB 3 lead a come from behind win. Not a stellar outing but at least there was an explanation. Much like the early season Highlands outings.

I do think the Home field is always big in the semis but not a huge obstacle to overcome. Mayfield, Highlands, NCC have all won quite a few semis on the road so no reason PC cannot do the same.

Should be a good one.....heck the time change may mess with teams more than the location.

Until proven otherwise you doubt the Birds... You lose.

If Pulaski coaching staff is smart (which I'm pretty sure they are) they will play up that they are playing Highlands. The 20 something state champion Highlands. Pulaski coaches and players are not doubting or looking past Highlands one bit.
