I would say most players on every team read message boards. You are talking about 15-18 year olds. They all love reading about themselves.

I haven't seen anything from Pulaski County that suggests they'll be able to beat the Birds. Birds roll easy.

 

I think easy is a bit of a stretch. Pulaski is good. They have one of the best QBs in the state. I think the fact that the game is in Fort Thomas makes this game pretty close to even.

Zero difference in the kicking game between the two schools.

 

I guess you haven't seen Highlands kicker. If Pulaski's kicker is as good he is getting D1 offers.

That feels extremely accurate maybe even Pulaski by 9. Although, I think Highlands pulls out the mojo magic and gets the upset.

No, but I do have my contacts in today.

 

I've been following this team since they were 7th graders. Their QB will be one of the best QBs Highlands has seen all season if not the best. They can throw it and run it efficiently and their defense is an above average defense. They stick you and they stick you hard. They are extremely poised and depth is not an issue. They are very well coached, senior dominated and these boys will be playing for their third straight trip to the state finals. And yes, I know Highlands is looking to go to their Lord knows how many state finals in a row this year. The difference is these Pulaski boys were sophomores leading their team to a state final appearance and when these Highlands boys were sophomores not many were on the field at the time. This Pulaski County team is one of the most complete teams that Highlands has seen the day after Thanksgiving in quite some time.

Not really. Pulaski County has shown the ability to come from behind and still win in many different circumstances. Including using their 3rd string QB. Last night North Laurel played keep away with Pulaski County and it almost worked. Resilient team with a championship pedigree is what they are.

This game is no surprise. We all knew these two teams would be here. Pulaski County is the better team. That doesn't mean they will win though.

I'll be taking Highlands. I think this will be a great game between two great teams. But the edge with highlands because they don't have to travel and because they are on a roll. Watch out for the Pulaski County fans! They are a loud and rowdy bunch and will make you think it's at Pulaski!! Good luck to both, can't wait to watch one of these teams at WKU!
