I believe it was. I think Male may face a challenge from someone in the semis or state title game, but they should win state.

There should be no doubt. The 6A title game was settled tonight. All the other remaining teams on the opposite side of the bracket are playing for the 1st Loser Position, which is more commonly called 2nd Place (although we all know that Trinity was the true 2nd Best 6A team).

It seems that about two years ago, the same question was asked about the Highlands vs CovCath Regional final in 4A, but the Collins Titans had other ideas.

 

Maybe tonight was the championship, but Male cannot count on the trophy being mailed to them, they have to earn it on the field at WKU in Bowling Green.
