I disagree on seeding... 3s get through fairly regularly in most years. That said, I think the 4 team districts are awful. We aren't big enough for 6 classes. However, I am one who didn't love the 4 class system... There is just too big a difference between highest/lowest enrollment. Go to five, and it will be a good compromise. I think the ideal would be 4 public classes and a private class, but that isn't going to happen - so just make it five, and be done with it.

Should do away with 3 and 4 making the playoffs. Play 10 games in 10 weeks and give teams that make the playoffs a week off week 11.

Trinity won State Championship as 3 seed last year. If you want to eliminate a round then need another option to select teams for playoffs, because some districts are not balanced well.

Better question, go back and look at round 2, how many 3 and 4 seeds were involved in round 2?

I hear you.

I wish we would go back to dividing Louisville 6A up as fair as possible and put half the Ville teams in the East and half the Ville teams in the West.

The other 6A schools in KY would either have to quit playing football or get better, no excuses.
