Would be curious to see these same stats broken down for Active Coaches.

Coaches still coaching who have been at their current school greater than 10 years is a painfully scary low number.. I think if you put together a Top 10 list of Coaches respective of only the wins at their CURRENT school it would be eye opening.

How many did he have at Pikeville? Did he reach 200 with the Panthers?

Those wins while at Pikeville are at 208. Just eclipsed the 200 mark.

Yep. "For Sale" signs were put in his front yard after those first three L's of that season. They opened up with Henry Clay, Somerset and St. X in '88 as the three losses. Rematch with Somerset in the semis, then Fort Knox took care of Somerset (for the 2nd time) in the finals.

 

Actually it was Lincoln Co rather than Somerset. Pats went unbeaten but lost in AAA semis

@Watusi I am almost 100% sure after research that Chuck Smith's record at Boyle County only to date is 163-36 this is according to school records. I do not know what his records were at his stops before that. He is in his 15th season at Boyle. The KHSAA will say he is 164-35 at Boyle County due to making Highlands forfeit their regular season win vs Boyle in 2004. Neither Boyle or Smith will claim this victory because it was not won on the field. Boyle says it was a 21-0 loss and the KHSAA says it was a 1-0 win. @ATLCat I think you were the first to ask about Smith's record at Boyle.

Wow. Didn't know I had it so good. Went to school when Garnis Martin (271) was around his prime (didn't play). Son played under Dale Mueller (250-36 -- ridiculous). Pretty rarified air.

Mojo had 97 wins in 13 years at catholic.

I , don't know the numbers but I would think Ivan McGlone at Russell , & Walter Brugh at Paintsville I would think would be high on the list . McGlone I know has over 300 , Brugh has close to 300 if not more , but again I don't know exact numbers
