November 2, 201510 yr Cats were terrible in every phase of the game. Defense was the "matador" D ....waved at opponent as they ran by. Special teams / kicking game is embarrassing, are terrible. Towles is just too inconsistent at QB, Barker may not be any better, I don't know and haven't seen enough of him to judge. Injuries are definitely taking a toll, little to no depth. IMO the Cats will have a tough time making a bowl again this season. Yes, it's vey possible with a couple of the remaining opponets but certainly not a given by an stretch.
November 2, 201510 yr Hate to be a buzz kill, but the same can be said about the kids playing for Butch Jones, and he inherited a train wreck. Difference is he is recruiting SEC players, Stoops low tier B1G or MAC. But if it helps you guys sleep at night go with it. Butch Jones walked into a FAR better talent pool which is why many of the kids Jones inherited play for UT while virtually none of what Stools inherited is. That is not blind fandom, that is reality.
November 2, 201510 yr Comparing apples to oranges. Butcher Jones inherited a program that could compete in the SEC with a good coach, Stools on the other hand inherited a team that couldn't compete in the sun belt. Freudian slip?

November 2, 201510 yr Charlotte is one of the worst teams in FBS football. It will come down to beating Vandy or UL and to be honest I think they can beat both. If you look at bowl predictions on ESPN, UK is listed in a bowl game. In fact one person had them playing UC in the Birmingham Bowl. The other projection was a Liberty Bowl appearance against K-State.

Also, UT has more history behind the program than UK does.
