How good a player is her son projected to be?

I guess my other Mind Boggling question is, why didn't Tricia's other Child not attend a Holy Cross feeder school and attend there from the 1st day of school? As stated by another poster last week that it was a coincidence that they waited until the day after Basketball tryouts to Withdraw from Highlands and Enroll in Covington Somewhere. Just Crazy! That girl now plays for the Holy Cross Girls program as an 8th grader.

How could someone not want to go to Highlands?

Seriously now, why do you guys care? Why waste the time and energy on something that has nothing to do with you! Grow up! Making a fool of yourself!! Whatever her intent is, whatever the motive, she is free to do so! Last time I checked, if your not paying her bills, putting food on her table or giving blood to save her life, you have absolutely no right to judge her on this move, any parent anywhere will put their child first for their best interest regardless if it hurts feelings! This is the real world, grow up! No room for cry babies:wave:

This thread seems more of an "axe to grind" than anything. Several current 9th region coaches 1) took the job or 2) remain at the job to coach their kids. You are giving them a free pass.

Finally, someone asking a serious question and not whining.... Spencer Macke is projected and is a very good player. Nice shot from the outside and nice footwork around the basket and will be good size.... I'd say that he is a 4 for freshman ball and a 3 for varsity. Other players in the class are Ty Houston and Clay Coleman. They add a lot size and some good ole HC pedigree. I see two, or all, playing a lot of jv this year also.

One correction: People do have the right to judge.

I don't know the lady and have never seen her coach so I can't comment on her worthiness of a high school team.

I get that some/many think folks are over the top in their criticism of her. However, IF (key) she did go about finding a school in the way it is reported then she has to be aware she has opened herself to criticism.

My guess is she's cool with that though.

What possible ax would Jimmy have to grind? He's from Piqua, afterall. :idunno:

First ever female head coach of a 9th region boys high school basketball team? Surely there has been some that I can't think of.

On a side note, I see that HC plays their games in the Msgr. Thomas B Finn Activity Center. Is this the same Father Finn that was a pastor at St. Thomas in Ft. Thomas back in the 70's ?? What's the connection? @nkypete?

What are her qualifications to coach at the high school level? I remember Troy Houston as a player and was wondering if he has ever coached at the high school level?

She is the only one that I can think of.

My understanding is she has coached a lot of AAU.
