The stands at Bellevue can accommodate a good 1000 fans+

In NKY, I say Dayton, Ludlow, and Holmes for uniqueness. Outside of NKY, I liked Danville and Bell County.

 

When Dayton used to have the white wooden fence that went around the stadium behind Maple Street, I thought it was more unique looking than it is now. I always enjoy watching a game at Ludlow too.

I'm wondering if this is the same place NewCath played DeSales in a playoff game about 7/8 years ago? The stadium was in the middle of a city neighborhood I believe.....but it was pretty cool venue.

 

Behind one goal post the refs had to stand on a grass wall to watch PATs and behind the other one a PAT went into a tree of one of the houses and the ball never came down.

Rhea Stadium in Russellville is my favorite place to go for a Franklin-Simpson road game. The rock wall all around the stadium, the kids playing on the hill at the end of the bleachers, and the hill in the corner of the north end zone. Special memory for me is when my wife went into labor there in 1998 at the end of the FS-Russellville game that year...at least the game was almost over by then. FS won 40-0, and my daughter wasn't born till Sunday.

I vote Dayton. The rock walls, people on their deck watching the games from above the Dayton sideline locker rooms big enough for maybe 20 people. Its a classic just dont throw a fade in the one end zone it could be a season ended for the WR. I went to a varsity game there last season and was sad to see only maybe 50 people there tops.

 

Around 1985 or so we played at Dayton and I was,the ball boy. Some fans on the hill behind the stadium's North side wanted to play catch. I tossed the game ball up and it never came back. Red Dog Dougherty wasn't too pleased.

I like the big old concrete stadiums that are high enough that you can see over the top of the field as if you were watching it on TV. Places like here at Franklin-Simpson, Bowling Green, Russellville, Barren County, Monroe County. None of those schools except FS has separate visitors bleachers, but they reserve the far end of the stadium for the visitors. Fine with me, because at least I can sit up high. Been to too many places where the visitor bleachers only give you a view of your teams backs while they are on the sideline.

 

As far as being unique, FS played at Russell County a few years ago and the football field there was also the outfield of the baseball diamond. Never had seen that before. Rash Stadium in Owensboro is a tough place for the opponent but is one of my favorite places to visit. Just over the state line at Portland, TN the railroad tracks run right behind the visitors side and there are usually at least one or two trains that come by during a game.

Campbellsville High School's football field doubles as the baseball outfield.

 

And Hart County's football press box (a big concrete stadium) serves as the baseball press box.

Several in the Russellville area have mentioned the unique Rhea Stadium and to my surprise no one has mentioned the back of the east end zone, at least I think it is East, it goes up a mound or hill or whatever you want to call it. I have heard I receivers mention that it is hard to keep concentration in that end zone. Really unique

I really like Paris' field. You can feel the history just being there.
