Bucs Eliminating almost half of BGP

Featured Replies

If the Colts get upset tomorrow, there are only a couple people left. We could start this contest over.

Stupid Ravens. I thought that one was a lead pipe cinch.

Crazy that the Bucs get embarrassed by the Titans and then beat the saints.

It's curse of Mariota. Jameis could end up a Hall of Famer but I bet he never beats Mariota. :lol2:

If I counted correctly. As of right now only Papa and Jbird have advanced, and there are 7 people that have the Colts tonight.

If I counted correctly, If there were 72 people still alive heading into week 2, so far only 55 of them have entered a team, so I'm assuming there's still 17 that might make a last minute pick for Monday night's Colts/Jets game?

As of Sunday 46 have gone down because of the Saints, Dolphins, Ravens, Rams, and Titans losing.

7 have already picked the Colts for the Monday night game, and only 2 have survived for having picked the Bengals.

If the Colts do win there will be at least 9 still alive with possibly as many as 24 if the remaining 17 who haven't voted yet vote for the Colts.

Are those 17 people forgetting to play, or will there be a last minute deluge of entries?

Certainly some of those 17 could possibly pick the Jets, but I'm assuming that would be doubtful, but certainly not impossible.

I've never done an eliminator contest, but they seem fun. From my vantage people seem to way overthink their strategy. I will need to hop it once this one ends in a couple weeks (and then lose in the first week). It is like post-season baseball. You don't save your ace for game 4.

Ravens sent me packing

Suddenly I'm not feeling so bad for exiting in week one.

That, and the fact that a lot of people here on BGP (including yours truly) need to take a step backwards on just how much we think we know about the NFL, when we can't even pick just one game correctly.

I think only HT and jbird are sure to pass thru. Papa chose poorly.

Speak for yourself. I still know a ton about the NFL. Yesterday I learned that the Bucs are better than the Saints. :D :lol2:

No kidding ^.

And the Jags are the best team in the AFC South :D

I'm in another survivor pool with 581 people. There were 508 people left after week 1. Going into tonight's game, there are only 107 left. If Indy loses, there will only by 57 left!!!! I picked NE the first week. This week when I sent the email to the guy running it, I typed in the Saints. Then BEFORE I hit send, I had a weird feeling - it literally just did not feel right. I switched to the Steelers on a whim at the last second. Sounds weird but totally true...
