I do think that DeSales should be a ahead for now. They are undefeated against their schedule, which includes 6A schools. However, both schools are strong and I could easily see either one winning during the play-offs. Best of luck guys.

I believe I took your post The wrong way. I'm sorry.

The more comments I hear from CERTAIN Mayfield fans the more I think THEY don't understand what Desales is.

 

and that could be said the other way as well.

 

Neither team knows what they are getting themselves into because they haven't played.

 

Should be a great game if they meet.

They really don't. Mayfield likes to act like they're the most intimidating team/place to play in the whole United states. Desales is not scared and will look forward to playing you on your home field.

Of course, in the playoffs the officials will be from elsewhere, too....I am not implying that the Mayfield-area officials are biased but as players you do get used to the way your local officials call things, e.g., offensive holding by the wide-outs, late hits, etc.

lol, just to clarify. We beat Butler 49 - 13. I couldn't tell you the last time someone scored 31 pts on us. Maybe if you added all the scores up last year? lol

 

And for the war memorial comment. I promise you this. We'll bring as many fans there as you guys will have. You have no idea. We are road warriors. We don't have a home field.

You better start worrying about your lines. If they were indeed getting shoved around by McCraken, then you guys will be in a world of hurt against DeSales.

Desales has plenty of it and it will be a non factor. Defense is nasty and swarms.

I guess I cant get pulled into the Mayfield got whipped in the trenches conversation. MC being a 6A school can rotate linemen out with fresh legs about 3rd quarter..not many 2A schools can so I say its more of a matter of Mayfield got beat by shear numbers of people. A luxury no 2A school has. Take nothing from the "got whipped in the trenches" stuff. Mayfield got beat in OT by a very good, very DEEP MC team...we got what we needed to from this game...we roll on. I hope DS staff reads into this what it seems Colt is...that's good.

Desales has depth at every position. Possibly more so than McCracken. It's been that way for the past two years. We have built up tons of talent.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am fairly positive DeSales does just that
