Desales doesn't understand what they are getting themselves into. War Memorial in November will be extremely hostile.......

The more comments I hear from CERTAIN Mayfield fans the more I think THEY don't understand what Desales is.

They really don't. Mayfield likes to act like they're the most intimidating team/place to play in the whole United states. Desales is not scared and will look forward to playing you on your home field.

lol, just to clarify. We beat Butler 49 - 13. I couldn't tell you the last time someone scored 31 pts on us. Maybe if you added all the scores up last year? lol

 

And for the war memorial comment. I promise you this. We'll bring as many fans there as you guys will have. You have no idea. We are road warriors. We don't have a home field.

You better start worrying about your lines. If they were indeed getting shoved around by McCraken, then you guys will be in a world of hurt against DeSales.

With all due respect to NCC the west will win the 2A title again this year.

I think we have learned something this far in. Heading into this season MF was extremely deep at all the skill positions and the concern was for the young line. McCracken beat MF to death in the trenches. DeSales strength is supposed to be the trenches and so far they have done nothing to make me think otherwise. Should this game come to bare in the semi finals I would expect that Mf line will have improved by then but I still expect this area to be a plus for DS. McCracken, in my opinion, has better skill people than DS and McCracken was able to neutralize a lot of the Mf skill people by having the athletes to do so and this is something that DS should not be as good at doing so there is some hope for MF but being better up front is harder to overcome. For me, knowing less about DS makes it tough based on who they have played so far to determine just how good they are but certainly they are elite. The only thing I saw in the above posts from any DS poster that I disagreed with is that they will bring more fans than we will have at War Memorial, that will not be the case. That said, I have never believed in a home field advantage so I don't think that will matter in the outcome of this game should both get lucky enough to make it that far.
