I think we have a QB Controversy

I'm confused with what those stats are from. 1st string AJ was 6/6

Marvin will never pull Andy.

They are from another team that played today where the starter was not all that effective and the backup was.

Team Y today in a 31-7 loss:

Starting QB 6/15 for 90 yards and an INT (Hint this guy was All-World last week)

Back-up QB 6/13 for 64 yards

Team Z in a loss today:

Starting QB 3/7 for 49 yards

Back-up QB 18/28 for 187 yards

It's obviously early, but A.J. has looked good. IMO, Dalton better step it up early and progressively improve.

I get what your saying because its only preseason. However it is important to know which qb it is. Because with Dalton we know what we have from him in big games. If he played well in big games then there wouldn't be a problem.

Small sample size but I like what AJ was able to accomplish. I' do think he has a stronger arm and a nice pocket presence. No controversy butI do feel better about or backups ability.

The thing to me is there is not much difference in physical ability. McCarron doesn't have a huge are either. The difference to me is the mental part and leadership ability. Mccarron is more of a leader and probably mentally stronger to handle big games.

There will be no QB controversy. What did AD do tonight to cause this to happen? He was 6 for 6. It was great that AJ played well and he did play extremely well. But just like last week and the week before, it was a pre-season game, let's not get too y\up or down with anything. That was not the Bears opening day defense.

Marvin and Hue will not let this be a QB controversy, nor should they. They are absolutely oblivious to the fans, as they should be.

The thing I worried most about AJ he passed with flying colors and that was did he stay focused with the rush on him and people at his feet? He did tonight and that is paramount in this division.

He did not see the field great he missed both Eifert and Peerman wide open against blown coverages down field. He was not pressured , just missed seeing them. That is what is expected, though.

No. Big Ben isn't in danger of losing his dog, I mean job, to Vick.

Jameis will be up and down all year. I just hope he stays healthy. His OLine is putrid.

Matt Ryan will be fine. I wish they would start Yates. I wouldn't be mad.
