Pius coach was not present last night I heard and there has been some whining about kids playing time so you saw some PT for kids who do not usually get it. By time Pius was down 10 last night the others came in. Again, this is what I was told. I wasn't there. I also heard about a CE crowd who was all over Mayer and calling him "spray tan" as he is tan from the CCH Florida trip. CE was dressed up as nerd night as well. Is this true for a 8th grade game? I hope the name chanting is false as I would expect any administration would be embarrassed to allow that

The difference right now is Pius teams do not practice but 1-2x a week due to the many 3rd-8th grade boys and girls teams and limited open times. Per the same contact today come a few weeks they will get more practice time in to prepare for the run. But for sure at this age these boys are starting to develop and catch up. will be a very fun 2016 tourney this year.

Michael has heard a lot of stuff over these past 3 years in NKMSL; he probably smirked at that one. Classic grade school behaviors, the big kid always a focus.

I look forward to him moving on to HS ball & playing at a more challenging level & not always the focus of the other team.

CE won by 2 it was a great game

Well done, Trail Blazers!

Ockerman Middle School swept all three games last night against Gray Middle. Great atmosphere last night at Ockerman for "Blackout Night".

I was present at the game last I heard no name calling and seen no kids dressed up as nerds and the same kids that played the majority of time in last nights game were the same kids that played in the first game they played against each other.

It was a great game CE was just a little better last night.

I was there as well last night and did not hear any name-calling. In fact I thought the crowd was kind of lame last night considering the two teams. Regarding Mayer: There's not another player taller than 6 foot in this area that I know of that can handle the basketball like him. I watched Evan Prater from Wyoming middle school on Monday night. He is a 6'1" point guard that is highly ranked in Ohio. You give me the option to pick either-or. I'd Pick Michael every single time. Other bigs are catching up to him physically but their skill set not.

Conner 6th and 7th win at IHM tonight. 7th grade was a very close game with IHM leading by 5 going into the 4th. IHM got into foul trouble and one of their bigs fouled out which allowed Conner to get into the lane and score easy buckets.

These two should meet again in February to decide who represents the West Region for the 7th grade.

If my source is correct, IHM won the 8th grade game against Conner.

Was last night and we are stil a month away and a lot could happen between now and then. However his was one of the bigger games in small league with post season implications.

I was at a game in Anderson and on the way home I was looking for a local game. I actually went to the RA site and must've over looked it.

So is Beechwood still the favorite in the Small Division even with losing all of that scoring?

I believe Beechwood is still the favorite in the small division, with the possibility of having their whole team come tourney time.

Do they have some players out?
