I've been reading some older posts and this got me started thinking of some great individual performances so I figured I would start a thread on the subject.

Daniel Pugh - Paintsville

 

5 rushing TDs and 5 passing against Evarts in 2005.

 

This one ranks up there to me.

Michael Hanley - Apollo

 

Against Graves Co. his senior year, he had 408 yds rushing and 8 TD's on about 12 carries. Coach didn't let him play the 2nd half.

In last year's game against Harlan, Williamburg's Aaron Root was in on 32 tackles, 24 solo, 8 assists. Heck of a game for a linebacker!

Sheldon Clark sophomore Adam Dials rushed for 305 yards and cashed in 4 tds against Breathitt County this past season in a first round playoff game.

Shaun Alexander's SR Year (every game but one) and Brohm v Bush in 02. Desmond Tardy, QB for IN Warren Central, over Cincy Elder in 03 is a tight #3...

Revealing my age here, but....

 

as an 8th grader, I watched Duncan Jacobs, senior QB at Harlan, have a rushing TD, a throwing TD, a kick-return TD, and an INT TD in the same game. Later in the year, he threw 2 TDs, one right-handed and one left-handed, in the same game.

Only saw Alexander play once, it was against Campbell Cty. I believe he had 6 TDs. Unstoppable!

I think it may have been when I was a kid watching the Sutkamp's run the ball at Bellevue.....Jon or Mike....one of them had like 5 TD's and 350 rushing yards in one game..... talk about Top running backs all time......that name has to stand out.

Arliss Beach against Johnson Central his senior year

13 carries for 304yds, 2 catches for 17 yards and had 5 td's on runs of (32, 88, 41, 56 ) and a 14 yd reception in the tomcats 38-14 win.

Chapman from Pikeville had six scores in the first half of a game. I think the opponent was ESTILL County. He did not play in the second half. I think he could have scored six more if he had. I believe this was his senior season.

Justin Frisk against Leslie County 1995 3A semi-finals. Justin ran all over them that night. I don't think HHS threw more than a couple of passes that night. Truly one of the best performances I have ever seen. HHS lost starting QB to a broken arm the prior week against Holmes. Justin carried that team that night.
