Cole Draughn (QB from Pulaski County) a few years ago in the playoffs vs Waggener. The score was insane and more indicative of a basketball game, ...

Pulaski County 82

Waggener 68

His numbers were insane but I cannot recall them. I remember Milam saying on Sports OT that it was not an error, that the score and his stats were real. I believe he had around 700 yards of offense (passing & rushing).

Isnt that score the state record for most points combined by 2 teams in 1 game?

When Cole was a senior he rushed for 359 yards & 6 TD's & threw for 1 TD & 156 yards vs Breathitt Co. Pulaski won 48-26.

That was in 2003

Do you remember his numbers from the Waggener game? There were off the hook but I cannot remember the exact numbers.

How about this line from Tommy Stevens, playing for Flat Gap in a 1993 game vs. Bugtussel:

28 Carries

4 Yards Gained (that works out to just over .14 yards/carry)!!!!

6 Fumbles

0 Touchdowns

- and he also threw it in the same game:

7 Passes attempted

0 Complete

3 Interceptions

He put up those numbers, all while playing with a "tight" hamstring!!

Had he been healthy, it's hard to imagine just how great a game that could have been ...

Sadly, Tommy's scholarship offer would never come. His father was the postal worker that delivered mail to his own home, and everyone knows that Tommy Sr. didn't like colleges. Otherwise, Tommy might have one day worn the Scarlet and Grey.... At least, I think those are the colors of South Ohio State (or as it's more commonly referred to "SOS").

What Flat Gap team is this? Where are they located?

Arliss Beach against Johnson Central his senior year

13 carries for 304yds, 2 catches for 17 yards and had 5 td's on runs of (32, 88, 41, 56 ) and a 14 yd reception in the tomcats 38-14 win.

I was a witness to this one. It was quite an exhibition. Although, it probably would have been more enjoyable for me if he had been wearing the BLACK/GOLD.;)

Dustin Grutza scoring 6 TDs against Ashland in the 2003 playoffs.

What team did he play for?

Mason Co. UC starting QB as a red shirt Frosh last year...

1984, Soph. Eugene Luke (Lloyd) Rushed for 310 yds on 10 carries & 6 TD's, all in the first half vs Simon Kenton.

2 weeks later, Luke against Highlands had 327 yds on 17 carries & 5 TD's all in 3 quarters.

Ron Blume against Boyd County in 2005

485 yards rushing

6 TD's

I officiated that game. The kid was AMAZING. If Boyd didn't stop him in the backfield, they didn't stop him at all. Just an Amazing performance against a quality team(at the time).
