That wasnt fun.. Had my and my wife's identity stolen twice. First one was from our debit card we used at a gas station in Covington back when they still used the old fashion slide thingy you slide over the card into a paper with carbon copy. We didn't know about it until one day I checked our bank account statement and there was a monthly bill for $19.95 charge coming out and it ended up being to a porn site and it was taken out for over a year. We never really looked at our statements before, just would go online to check balance etc. filed report with police but nothing ever was done. Wasn't real happy bout that. Happened again about 2 years ago but we were lucky we caught it quick and the bank cancelled the card right away and reimbursed us the money right away. This one was charged in both Florida and Chicago IL all at the same time and date. Not very smart for the person who did it. That was easy to prove because I was here and we caught it about an hour after the charges were made. The bank called to see if they were good charges. Scary how easy it is to have identity stolen these days.

August 20, 201511 yr Regardless of what they were doing, invasion of privacy is invasion of privacy. I hope the culprits are caught. Of course I'm waiting for the next big name...
