Have a feeling all of this is dying down and that there won't be anything else released. I'm afraid the fun is over. :meh:

 

I wouldn't be too surprised if their lawyers have cease and desists pending all over the place to keep that stuff from being leaked. At this point their primary goal is triage. If they can stem the flow of released names they can minimize their liability in the likely lawsuits that are inevitably coming.

 

They will still get sued, but not by as many people.

Perhaps this is over shooting it, but I am going to say people really interested in seeing these names also enjoy watching the Kardashian and Jersey Shore crap. I have almost zero interest in the whole story

 

What people really should be talking about related to this story is the lack of security of the Internet and how do we fix that. The government is getting hacked. The IRS got hacked. The amount of detail that you can access on any person through the internet is scary. This may be for another thread but I think the FBI or some federal security organization needs to get after these hackers. They are terrorists.
