That is really impressive, congrats. I'm glad to see that someone gets it. Eat less and exercise more to lose weight. As you said it's still not that easy, but it's not some magic formula of pills and special diets that I see on the internet 100 times a day.

Agree. When I returned from the state basketball tournament in March I weighed 236 pounds, by far the most I've weighed in my life. Since then I've cut back on my food portions and cut down on carbs and sweets and now weigh 205. I also walk 2 miles each day. I'd like to get down to around 180, not too far off from my 170 college weight back in the '70s.

What I weighed when I was in the Army. Would love to get back down to about 250. Good to hear all these weight lose stories. I have lost about 30 pounds since my hip surgery in March. Cut out a lot of my sweets, eating fewer calories and now able to get back to exercising. Had become almost completely in-active for 1 1/2 years leading up to my hip surgery...hip hurt so bad I just pretty much sit all day. Fells so good to be back up and active. Been walking my golf course with my bag a few times a week now, got up to 8 holes the other night and could have walked several more had it not gotten too dark to play. Sure feels good to be able to do that again.

This guys needs to get what is coming to him.

Jared Fogle Sues Parents of Child Porn Victim | TMZ.com

Jared Fogle's brass balls are rattling -- the child porn convict is actually suing the parents of one of his victims, blaming them for the teen's problems.

Fogle's suit targets the parents of a "Jane Doe" ... who earlier this year sued him and his ex-employee, Russell Taylor. In his lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Fogle says the girl's parents screwed her up when they got divorced.

He says they frequently fought and abused alcohol in front of "Jane Doe," which caused her to suffer major depression and engage in "destructive behaviors" -- including abuse of drugs and alcohol, self-mutilation and having suicidal thoughts.

Fogle -- who's doing just over 15 and a half years in prison -- is trying to say the girl's parents should be partially or fully responsible for all the claims she's making against him.

@Jim Schue , how much more weight you down?

I slipped up a bit and picked some back up during the colder months, but I've managed to work that back off again the last few months. It's been harder to get really low because I'm turning fat to muscle in some spots. I fit into a pair of 40 waist shorts today — first time I've been able to do that in 20 years.

That's great man! Probably added some years on your life doing that!

Well, the drinking and cigarettes make it kind of a zero-sum thing, unfortunately.

Managed to get my BP dosage cut in half a couple months back. Next goal is to get off that stuff altogether.
