Will Deters demeanor prevent the riots?

If it doesn't, nothing will. He is very contrite in his tone. He said that it was murder, the guy is going to be tried for murder. What else could the community want?

Said you won't believe how quickly he pulls his gun and shoots him. Took about a second.

Wow. He's eviscerating the officer.

This is wild...

Will Deters demeanor prevent the riots?

He's trying, it worked in South Carolina in a similar situation.

Deters has handled this very well, but the biggest factor to minimize riots and violence is the murder indictment itself. No one can claim anyone is trying to hide anything. No one can say justice is not being sought.

Deters/Cincinnati has handled this flawlessly, IMO.

"We don't mess around around here."

A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

"Warrant for his arrest has gone out."

"They're out to get him."

"I'm treating him like a murderer."

"I'm treating him like a murderer."

Wow.

Deters: This was a chicken crap stop.

"Let him go, you don't have to shoot him in the head"

"This was a chicken crap stop."

Life in prison if found guilty.

"I don't care if you are a police officer or Pope Francis. If you break the law we are going to go after you."
