That's what I like about him as well. I like the fact that he stands by what he said and isn't going to apologize.

Do I agree with what he said......NO, but at the same time I love his style.

We have posters that have no filter either. You voting for them?

Trump said, he's a war hero because he was captured. So for all those upset, if not for being captured would McCain be considered a war hero?

Here's his quote:

“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said. Sarcastically, Trump quipped, “He’s a war hero because he was captured.” Then, he added, “I like people that weren’t captured.”

That didn't exactly answer my question. If he wasn't captured would he be considered a hero? I respect and appreciate all those who serve but I do think McCain is considered a bigger hero than others because he was a POW and a congressman.

Look up his war record and you tell me.

Volunteered to pilot air to ground fighters.

Was wounded then continued flying once healed up.

Yes, he was a hero before he was shot down and captured.

Once again I ask, "how can a party so steeped in honoring the sacrifice and service of our military say such a thing about this man's war record?" It surely boggles the mind.

When someone says, "He's a war hero because he was captured" (emphasis mine), the answer has to be a big fat no.

You are correct about some posters, but I never said I was voting for Trump.

This poll has Trump up 3% over Bush :

2016 National Republican Primary - Polls - HuffPost Pollster

Trump's mouth isn't going to lose him the nomination, its going to win him the nomination! Like him or not, his candor is refreshing considering the relentless waves of meaningless hyperbole we are supposed consume in order to make voting decisions.

I agree with Trump's comments on immigration, and if the truth offends you, so be it.

Haha. The left is pushing Trump. He's gone early. Anyone in the party knows that .

Clyde's response is 100%. I kept seeing these polls on trump I'd love to see their data. All internal polls show Trump distant from the leaders.

The whole Trump experiment has been pretty obvious on what is happening. He may or may not be sincere, buy there has been a spiking of the the polling data.

I mean this with NO disrespect at all to any servicemen, past ot present.

But, if you take away that Trump said this on his horrible style, there is an interesting concept to explore. Why do people assign more "glory" to people who suffer for their country, or even religion, than those who do the same tasks, same actions, yet come out on the other side without having suffered? Now, I'm qualifying this by saying that I believe all who have served in any capacity that put them in a position of having to make life and death decisions definitely will not depart that duty without some sort of sacrifice of themselves even without being injured.

"Jesus Christ was a dope for getting crucified by the Romans. I like classy saviors who don't get crucified." - Donald Trump, probably

Kind of ranks right up there with what HILLARY said about the dead Benghazi people.

"What difference at this point does it make"

It matters to some parents and family of the dead.

The Huffington Post announced Friday that they wouldn't be covering Trump's campaign under their politics section, but instead under their entertainment section. They caught a lot of flack for it, especially the usual "liberal media" sniping. Initially I thought their decision was a mistake, but at this point I'm having a hard time disagreeing with them.

After watching and listening to Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for president, we have decided we won't report on Trump's campaign as part of The Huffington Post's political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump's campaign is a sideshow. We won't take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you'll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.

Jay Rosen, a media observer/critic whose opinion I think pretty highly of, had a take on it too.

Huffington Post says it will frame Trump?s campaign as entertainment. Why I support that. » Pressthink
