NCC almost always plays one of the top 5 most difficult schedules in 2A. looking at the schedule above, it will likely be in the top five again this year

When was DeSales moved from 4A to 2A?

 

All Jefferson County Schools were 4A for years despite their size.

 

1999 was the first year DeSales didn't play in Jefferson County AAAA, although the county-wide 4A had stopped in 1995. DeSales immediately dropped to 2A in the old four class system (1999-2006) and have remained in 2A with the advent of six class football.

WVerona will be a player in the east and I expect LCA to be back to there old form and get back in the title discussion. Murray and OB Catholic will both be strong and give Mayfield a challenge in the region.

What was the score when DeSales eased off the gas? Also, did that entail putting in the second string or just adopting a less aggressive play style?

We were up 28-13 in the third when we let off. It was a mixture of both.

Why would he be mad? We controlled the game. We won the game. That was 2013, no bearing on what happens this year.

I like this Colts team, i'm optimistic but cautious. I was the same exact way last year. We have plenty of talent on the field. Our Freshman, and JV programs have been tremendous over the last 5 years. Hopefully it will translate onto the field.
