Who said he was those measurements? Now' date=' having said that, as Clyde mentioned, I bet they are closer than you'd think. I'd put him at 6'1" and 175 in socks, if you made me guess.[/quote']

I checked. 6'2 185

At the doctors office? Or with the family? Or with the school?

Always and inch and a few pounds added by the school. LOL

With minimal rounding up (if any) CVH was 6'2" and 180 right after HS season ended.

On the Craft comment that I mentioned, Craft as a role model is different than Craft as a comparison. I believe that the comment meant Von Handorf should try to model his game after Craft's. It did not mean Von Handorf is better than Craft.

Basing solely on last years HS season, did he make some big advancements this summer. Taking nothing away from his talent on the court, I'm a big fan of this you man. I'm wondering if he is high d1 player as someone mentioned?

This is of course is if I don't understand how many levels there are per say in D1 (low, medium, high, elite??)

What do you call "high D1?"

I guess that is my question? Is High D1 schools like UK, UC, Xavier or are they at another level. Just my ignorance of the how levels are understood.

Explain?

Eye of the beholder.

Eye of the beholder.

Understand, I guess I look at high d1 schools like UK, Florida and not sure I see him playing there. But then I see Bolden going to WV this year and Snider at UL, and I can see Cole going against them.

Just maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

Still like the kid and looking forward to watching him play agin this year. Based on highlight film above the kid continues to be working to get better.

Can we stop with the Craft comparisons? CVH is a really nice player. Craft was a McDonald's All Anerican. Oh, and they play different positions. Cole is a scorer. The next time Craft hits a jumper will be the first time.

The comparison comment took on a life of it's own. The Craft comment started as a College Coach recruiting CVH suggesting he begin to model his play after Craft. You make a solid observation. Craft was a play making guard distributing the ball, a true PG. CVH on the other hand is a very excellent pull up and scoring guard. I believe the comment was made to encourage CVH to become a more complete guard so that he can do both. He has the makings of a true combo guard and probably is more of a scoring threat today, but has the ability to also be Craft like in the facilitation role if he focuses on it. Just my 2 cents on the comparison misread.

Generally High Major applies to any of the Power 5 schools who are annual or semi-annual tournament teams. Also applies to teams in non power conferences who are annual tournament teams (Butler, VCU, etc.)

Elite high majors are teams like UK, Duke, Kansas, etc who are the teams in the mix for national titles every season.

And U of L...I just had to.

Sounds like this young man will get a free education at the next level whatever that level turns out to be.
