Idk its always been my opinion that playing any team at home is tough... it makes things even tougher when you have to play a team at home in a DISTRICT game. This is going to be a very fun District and Regional Tournament to watch. Looks like it will all depend on what teams really show up to play and what teams want it the most. Can't beat games like they. They nearly always end in some doozies! :ylsuper:

And how long has he been coaching? Yeah right!!!!!! In my opinion it sounds more like they think maybe they are above the game and wouldn't get called on it. It's not like this is a new rule. Admit the mistake and move on, quit making excuses for a coach thinking he could get away with it. Never hear of the good coaches (Mac Whitaker - Harrison County, Jody Hamilton - West Jessamine, Bill Miller - PRP) making a mistake like that.

I'm not sure how you can say that Bob Myerhoff (currently head coach of the All A Champions) and Bill Krumpelbeck (state champs and winningest team in the nation a few years ago and probably the best teacher of the fundamentals in the state) aren't good coaches.

Newman throws one pitch in the fifth inning Monday to record the third out. He comes back and throws two more innings to close the game. Well, according to the rules you can throw 2 innings every day. You're telling me that one pitch is not easy to overlook. I know it's big, I know they could've looked in the book but you don't always have time.

 

To imply Myerhoff and Krumpelbeck are not good coaches is showing your baseball knowledge, plain and simple.

 

And let me tell you this, it happens more often than is noticed. There's a difference in, those guys haven't done it and those guys haven't been caught.
