Sharks disrupting my vacation

Featured Replies

I'll be vacationing a little north of where the sharks attacks were, and I'm not really planning to do anything different. I'll probably swim somewhat frequently or just New Belgium it on the beach.

Maybe Lawnboy will have his show on Sharkweek next year.

a survivor's tale-

"How I was saved by wedging old printer parts in a sharks mouth"

So does this mean if Lawnboys last BGP post is "JAWS" we all know what happened?

All he needs to do is wear his work uniform and the shark will never see him at all.

Numerous shark attacks and sightings in North Carolina this week. Staying in Ocean Isle all week and the following video was less than a mile from where we have been swimming all week.

Whole family is going to Ocean Isle the end of July. They have taken notice of this. They will probably make me run interference and go out first and test the waters. Not this guy, though!

I'm sure this is how the wife is planning on collecting on my life insurance policy. Death by shark.

I have an ample supply of printer parts to fend off these menacing beast. :lol2:

Make sure Mrs. LB don't put any bait in the pockets of your swim trunks. Hate to see you go out in the ocean with shrimp in your pockets.

I'm going to Myrtle Beach in July, I don't plan on getting in very deep that's for sure.

Up until this year, I have gone scuba diving for many years. I always have felt much safer scuba diving than wading in the water. I would be hanging out at the pool if I were in NC right now. They're gonna need bigger pools around there if these keeps up.

That was a bad video....he needs to get closer to the action next time. :scared:

Actually getting in the ocean is extremely over rated. Nothing more than knee deep for me. If I want to swim or hang out in the water I go to the pool.

I could care less about going to a beach or swimming in the ocean and with that said it surprises me that you have to tell anyone, hey there is stuff in these waters that can and will eat you.

I won't get into any water where I can't see my feet and what's swimming around them!

Interesting. I did not see any sharks when I was searching through your house this week. By the way. Who is La Don?

Tell us how you really feel :thumb:
