How close is this to Myrtle Beach?

It's all along the east coast. It's the Atlantic Ocean in June. My advice would be to purchase polarized sunglasses and don't let your kids go out past knee deep.

Most have happened in knee deep water.

Stay out of the deep first cut during high tide and stay out of the water period at low tide. Never use boogie boards or other similar flotation devices. And avoid piers, deep drop offs and areas where feeder streams enter the ocean.

Most have happened in knee deep water.

The two attacks were in waist deep water. Knee deep is good...waist deep is too far. With polarized glasses, you can see sharks and at least have a chance to get out of the water. The safest place is the tidal pool after the water goes down (about 2 hours before low tide)

And avoid the ocean.

One day at the beach is more than enough for me, but Mrs. Lawnboy and DLG's can't get enough of it.

Thank God we have a pool at this house we are staying at.

I caught a 300-lb bull shark about a mile off the coast in HHI last week. After seeing that thing up close...trust me, you don't want to be in the water with it

So does this mean if Lawnboys last BGP post is "JAWS" we all know what happened?

I have an ample supply of printer parts to fend off these menacing beast. :lol2:
