Minorities and the poor will always vote for their "fair share" of free stuff provided by the rich and working class and will keep voting for anyone who will keep the checks flowing.... And we have exhibit A in why I no longer even consider voting Republican. All Republicans don't hold this attitude, but far too many do. What is worse, the sane Republicans are afraid to call out the wingnuts. How is what Cammando said really any different than what Bengal Maniac said, just from a different view point. All Dems don't feel the way Bengal Maniac does but a good portion do and think Republicans are only out for white males. There are wing nuts in every party, I don't remember seeing many Dems calling out their wing nuts. Very narrow minded in my opinion to write off any candidate because of what some in his or her party say or do...candidates should be judged on their own merit...not on the most radical of their supporters.
June 8, 201511 yr Let's see: Not supporting Minimum Wage, Immigration, Equal Pay for Females, ObamaCare, .... Do many white men work in minimum wage jobs? Check. Scratch that example. Does wanting to secure the border benefit white men anymore than anyone else? Not really. That example doesn't really apply. Equal Pay - Arguable. Many say that is more of keeping the government out of private business affairs but it could be argued I guess. ObamaCare? How you can say opposing that directly favors white males only is beyond me. Opposing ObamaCare favors anyone who has watched the cost of their insurance go up while deductibles went up and the quality of the policy itself go down. That is true regardless of race or gender period.

June 8, 201511 yr What is racial about creating an economic atmosphere were businesses can grow and prosper were they create jobs? Job creation allows for less government dependency and lower taxes. It also allows the government to help those who may need help temporally and those who actually need help for life. There is a place for government oversight, but in today's world it seems as if government wants to regulate the smallest details in our lives and businesses. Smaller government is good for everyone, as each individual can live and prosper to the fullest of their abilities. We will see to those few that need help to cover the basic needs of life. To achieve this there needs to be limited government to allow businesses to start and grow and to allow current businesses to expand. With growth comes new tax revenue to pay for government without increasing the tax rates. Smaller government also reduces the need to spend money and wanting to raise taxes. Why does government never shrink when Republicans control the White House?

June 8, 201511 yr What do blacks have to show for this overwhelming loyalty? The worst run cities in the country are disproportionately Democratic ran and have been for decades. Blacks suffering the most wide spread poverty are in a majority of Democrat controlled areas. It has become a perception thing and the Democrats are winning the perception game by a landslide while in reality doing very little to help the plight of blacks, IMO. If you are a black conservative you are called the worst thing you can be called, an Uncle Tom. Every Black Republican that runs for office has that label hung around there neck by liberals. As has been said on this site, most blacks consider that the worst thing another black can call them or say to them. There are bad, sorry, horrible elected officials in both parties, I know I've voted for them in both parties. But as long as Democrats continue to receive such high levels of support why change anything they are doing. If I voted for candidates from the same party to be mayor and the city council for decades and my city had continually declined for decades I think I'd at least give the other guys a chance. At least send a message that you can't count on my vote just because of the color of my skin, you need to earn my vote...not expect it. Not all black conservatives are called Uncle Toms. With people becoming more advanced in politics at an earlier age the vitriol is ingrained at an early age in life which means the insensitivity and inability to communicate with one another in a rational and productive manner is all but finished by the time kids make it to political science class in college. It's too late.

The simple answer to your question is this: Democrats appear to be compassionate to the plight of blacks/minorities in America and they show it when it is time for campaigning for votes. I wouldn't have posted it. The post I DID reply to followed the Dems party line which portrayed support or lack thereof to specific legislature to lack of support on the issues which is/was misleading and not truthful...politics as usual. So, the person that falls into this misinformation trap either wants to or is duped. What does this have to do with Commando's post, tell me.
