June 8, 201511 yr It wasn't viscous - as it was more about the contact initiation - but could a ref call a flagarant for the elbow throw? Basketball has to do something about the non-natural shot motion being called a foul on the defensive player. Irritates me every time I see it. Never happen. Never gets called on the offensive player. Ever. Steph benefitted twice last night in a similar manner sans the elbow.
June 8, 201511 yr I will say for a superstar of his caliber, James does miss out on some calls - he still gets his fair share. I am not sure if that is from years of showing up the referees (eg. running to the other end of the court, flopping, and all other theatrics) or what it is. I think the refs try to hard to not be biased. MJ got all of the superstar calls and even Kobe has gotten a ton of superstar calls as well. I agree with you though, Lebron doesn't get that superstar whistle like others do. I do bet he gets that whistle the next two games in Cleveland.

Did you see his reverse layup in Game 1? He missed it, but he jumps a heck of a lot better than most 7 footers. He's not going to win any slam dunk competitions, but he can move very well.
June 8, 201511 yr If Game 1 represented the best of the NBA, this represented the worst. Amazing the difference in two OT games. Championship caliber defense can make games look very ugly.

June 8, 201511 yr GS stunk it up last night, though Cav's D had some to do with that. And lets be honest here, LB didn't do a whole lot down the stretch to help win that game. He wasn't great by any stretch the last half of 4th qtr and OT. He was fouled a couple of times that weren't called that hurt them, but that goes with the territory...some bad missed calls all around.
