Here's the thing on that. I don't understand the mentality that says that since I think Jordan is better than LeBron that I automatically think that LeBron stinks. It is like the guys who put down Manning to build up Brady. I don't feel that way. I feel like if I have a starting 5 of any player from any time, my 2G is Jordan and my SF is LBJ, over my hero LJB. There can only be 1 GOAT. It doesn't mean that someone is a hater if they disagree who that 1 person is.

 

If Lebron is able to single-handedly defeat one of the greatest statistical teams in the Finals then the drumbeats for Lebron being the GOAT will be at an all time high. The MJ fans who can't fathom that to be true won't have any of that nor will they be open-minded. Those cats will need a friend and a hug if Lebron pulls this off.

Exactly. I've said on numerous occasions that Lebron is the best player in the world right now, and has been for several years. Just because I think Jordan is better doesn't mean I think Lebron is crap. Just as much as they like to try to throw things in the Lebron Haters faces, they desperately seek anything that may help their argument of LBJ being the GOAT. It goes both ways.

The Q will be rocking. As the analyst are predicting, I think one of the Cavs role players steps up at home and provides Lebron some relief. They'll also need an 8th man to get in the rotation.

 

Regardless... This is a blast!

Outside of the first quarter of Game 1, the Cavs haven't looked like the best team. They have the best player in the world who has been carrying them, and the benefit of Curry and Green having sub-par games last night.

 

Golden State has only led once at the end of quarters once the whole series. After OT of Game 1. Other than that Cleveland has led at the end of each quarter(5 times) or the score was tied after each quarter(4 times).

 

To me that says Cleveland has been the better team so far.

It evens out. The call he got when he threw the elbow into Iguodala to get the and one was ridiculous. Both blatant fouls that went the wrong way. This officiating sucks.

I'm sorry. Maybe rings play into to it too much for me, but two rings isn't getting it done for me. He only has the 2nd one in Miami because the Spurs had one of the most epic collapses in NBA history.

It wasn't viscous - as it was more about the contact initiation - but could a ref call a flagarant for the elbow throw?

 

Basketball has to do something about the non-natural shot motion being called a foul on the defensive player. Irritates me every time I see it.

Needs to be changed in college also. It's a flawed rule and is taken advantage of. I don't have a problem with it being a foul, but the player shouldn't be awarded shots, IMO.
