In the 2nd inning with a runner on second and two outs, Moscot was up instead of Hamilton. Ugh. There is a reason why NOBODY ELSE does this. It is STUPID!

To be fair St. Louis does bat the pitcher 8th some times.
June 6, 201511 yr A few teams do it. Joe Madden, who is considered an excellent manager does it. I don't mind it. He was on 2nd when Votto hit him in. I like the idea of getting Hamilton on when Votto is up without leading him off.
