My brother and I used to play a little, we had a teacher in school who loved to play and taught the game to alot of students. I'm by no means good at it, but it's fun to play with someone of my skill level.

I am just starting to get back into it thanks to my students. I have always liked playing the game, but my students have rekindled my interest.

I play regularly. I haven't been playing much lately due to work but still try to find time to get a decent game in online. I use the chess live app on my phone unless I play on a real chess board at home. When on my annual winter vacation from work I play several games a day to pass time. My father and his two brothers were excellent at chess so I learned to play at an early age. I'm not as good as I once was but I would still consider myself a decent player.

My father taught me that notation, but they've changed it to algebraic most places.

 

I almost never get to play chess anymore, but I love it. Still play with my father from time to time.

I was on the Chess Club in high school, but all it amounted to was a few meetings after school to play games among ourselves.
