Any Chess Players on BGP?

Featured Replies

I learned to play when I was only 7 or 8 years old. My uncles taught me to play, and sadly, I'm only marginally better than I was then. I went through a stage in my early 30's where I got really interested again. I bought and read some books on how to play and chess theory, and had an electronic version so I could play alone. I guess I improved a little, but I started playing online and after moving up a little fairly quickly in rankings, I quickly hit a point where I couldn't win. My interest went down pretty quickly, and I haven't played at all in 7 or 8 years.

I like it and appreciate the strategy involved. Haven't played in years and I would never be considered any good at it.

What a great game. Love the game but, like many, just don't have the time anymore. For me, chess is like golf without all the bad words.
