I believe Pendleton County went 7-4 at Transylvania this week.

Anyone have schedule for Mason co team camp thursday and friday this week?

Beechwood was 6-3 at Transy. They beat Pendleton Co by 2, Beechwood blocked a shot with less a second left to win.

The problem is that a lot of coaches at schools where kids play more than one sport do not work it out, nor do they want to. The kid is told that if you miss this, then someone else might 'outwork' you for your spot. Stuff like that. Been going on for years.

Yes, it puts multi-sport kids in a bind having to choose. Athletes get zero time to just be kids anymore. is there a limit to the number of summer games a coach can schedule?

Edit.

Holmes' End of Summer Shootout will run Monday and Tuesday at Holmes:

Teams include:

Highlands, Pendleton Co, Warren Central, Lexcath, Williamstown, Dixie, Mason Co, and Lloyd

Holmes plays Lexcath (4:00) and Warren Central (7:00) on Monday.

Holmes plays Pendleton Co (11:00 am) and Williamstown (1:00) on Tuesday.

When I get the full schedule I'll post it.

No clue who they played, but was told Covcath's Andy Flood had 42 pts, 34 rbs, and 28 ast in three games today.

I know it's summer ball, but still impressive numbers.

I'm really digging this kid. :thumb:

Heard speculation from a reputable Cov Cath person that Cooper could walk the 9th this year. Interesting take..

Cooper has a shot but no more than anyone else in the 9th in my opinion. A tremendous amount will depend on how fast the 3 football players get acclimated back into basketball which could be a while if the football team gets on a run in the playoffs which they have legitimate shot to do. Personally I think the region is wide open.

Pendleton Co beat Williamstown bad.

Holmes beat Lexcath 59-58 on a layup by McClendon at the buzzer.

Lexcath has a really nice guard trio with Morris, Ogbognu, and #25 .

That is the "sandbaggingest" comment I've ever heard. I hope you shielded your eyes when they said it.
