Hal Heiner leads the latest Polls followed by Matt Bevin and James Comer in a tie, with Will T Scott bringing up fourth place. So who wins the race next Tuesday when Kentuckians go to the poll?

I'll go with Bevin in a mild upset.

I hear rumors that Mitch will not Bevin through the door on this one...Heiner has been pretty brutal in his charges, I don't like him, something about his look makes me think his makeup person must work at a mortuary. I believe Comer is a non-factor overall.

I think I would like to see Bevin, or "Bevins" depending on what part of the state you are in. Heiner, well everytime I hear his name, I think "hiney"....can't get past that either.

There is my well informed voting outlook...

1) "Political insiders," the media, and Jamie Comer all think Jamie Comer took over the front runner spot in April and will hold on to it even through the scandal.

2) Polls have consistently said Heiner is in the lead.

3) The man on the street will tell you Matt Bevin.

It is truly a toss-up.

I haven't really followed any of them and my lack of watching ABC,NBC,CBS or local FOX staions means I've missed most of the commercials.

Listened to the KSR debate and saw highlights on the KET debate on TV...Heiner comes of as less than genuine, Comer comes off as this is his and everyone else is beneath him, Bevin no real big impact either way and I loved Scott (even though he doesn't have a shot to win)

As of today I guess I'm voting Bevin but I have no idea who will pull it out.

Pretty much what I came away with also.

I'll probably vote for whomever sent me the least amount of campaign literature.

According to the same poll, Jack Conway beats each Republican. Comer loses to him by 6% & the others by double digits.

Are these the same pollsters who only hit the Democratic battleground of Louisville to poll people? They had Allison Lundgren Grimes beating Mitch? Take it with a grain of salt.

Here is what I was told by someone who interacts with the state government and whose view. As registered Repub I was looking for insight and asked this person as valued opinion.

Passed along as received in paraphrased format. The person is a Democrat but he did have some strong input related to the Repub primary.

Here it goes...

A vote for Bevin maybe a way to send message to Repub party - but its also a wasted vote. Conway easily wins over Blevin and everyone knows it.

The other 2 will be competitive though Conway still polls better against both.

For what its worth.

Anyone who thinks their vote doesn't matter, look at the results of the Republican primary. Less than 100 votes separate Bevin and Comer.
