Justin has been moved from the ICU unit to the Neurological unit of the hospital. He had a few surgeries this morning to monitor his condition, but that is about it.

 

Please continue to pray for Justin & his family. It's the least we can do.

 

Hopefully I will have good news to post this weekend.

Here is an update from Saturday morning:

 

Justin ended up having the surgeries. A breathing machine is doing 100% of his breathing for him. He's in a very deep coma, that was not medically induced. They discovered a sponge had been left after surgery, which caused a 104 fever. Eventually, the doctors got it down to 101 Saturday night.

 

I believe they did brain surgery to relieve some pressure & monitor him more closely.

 

As of Sunday:

Justin remains in Neurology ICU.

 

His 21st birthday is May 18th, and any type of support is appreciated. If you'd like to know how to show your support, send me a PM.

At school today, the best and most reliable teacher in the school said that he is now in a coma, and they are not attempting to wake him up until Wednesday to let his body rest more.

 

His mom never leaves his side, not even to get food. She is there 100% of the allowed visitors hours. Prayers are appreciated.

I like NCC, lost a good friend to a car accident when I was a junior in high school. It was definitely something tough to deal with. May God Bless him and his family along with the medical staff that is caring for him. He'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hope to hear more good news about his condition improving, I graduated in 03 as well and just lost a friend in the fall, it's tough, hopefully Justin pulls through. Prayers and thoughts are with him and his loved ones.

Update:

 

Justin's condition has not changed. He is now in a movement bed, which may help with the pneumonia.

 

The doctors had said that 7-10 days after the accident they would be able to tell more. Today is the 7th day.

I have heard that he has been taken off of life support and will get an MRI today. PLEASE KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING

I have great news about Justin. Today at school they said they took him off live support also doctors said they did not expcet him to do as well as he is. Please keep the praying for him and his family.:thumb:

That's awesome news, I wish I had heard of this sooner. As someone who played and graduated with him I ask that you please everyone keep praying.
